Powerpoint – Orientation

My day job is somewhat hard to explain to people so I generally try not to.  One of the aspects of it is having to distill the essences of complex systems into key points that can be easily understood by the audience in a short period of time.  The audience varies from C-level executives through the grunts on the ground.

In addition to presenting the results of the efforts of my teams, I also wind up sitting through many presentations of others as well.  I see some really great presentations, and some really poor ones.

So for those of you who can relate, I give you the basic orientation to what not to do with your presentation:
